On Friday, I'll be trading my cosy bed for a cardboard box, as I take part in a unique fundraiser for the YMCAB. For one night, I'll experience a glimpse of what it means to sleep rough, all in the name of raising awareness and crucial funds for the YMCAB.

It's important to recognise that my one night out under the stars pales in comparison to the daily reality faced by many in our communities. Homelessness is a persistent issue, affecting countless individuals and families who lack the basic comforts and security most of us take for granted.
