Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi everyone, welcome to my Just giving page.

This November marks 10 years since my Nan passed away, she'd had dementia for a number of years.

I wanted to raise money for dementia UK so I've decided to do a 30 mile row on the rower at the gym during November. The gym rower measures in metres so this works out at 48,281 metres. So aiming to row a mile a day.

Even if people aren't in a position to donate I'd really appreciate it if you could share it. I'll be posting regular updates so you can see my progress.

I wanted to actually do something to feel I've earned any donations I get. I think 30 miles in a month is definitely achievable especially with my own health issues I've had this year.

Thanks

Stace
