Story
This year I am taking on the Great North Run to raise money for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, an incredible organisation that provides practical and emotional support to families who have a child with a serious or life-threatening illness.
Rainbow Trust supports families through some of the most difficult times of their lives. Their Family Support Workers help parents, siblings, and seriously ill children by providing companionship, emotional support, hospital support, and practical help with everyday challenges. They work closely with families both at home and in hospital, ensuring they never have to face these challenges alone.
The charity also supports children and families at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle, providing vital assistance to families whose children are receiving specialist care, including those awaiting life-saving transplants. Their work helps reduce stress, provides comfort, and allows families to focus on what matters most – being together.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help Rainbow Trust continue providing this essential support to children like Bobby and many other families facing incredibly difficult circumstances.
Thank you for your support and generosity. Together, we can help Rainbow Trust make a real difference to the lives of seriously ill children and their families.
