Our dad had a stroke in September 2025. He bounced back remarkably quickly following surgery and rehab but sadly the stroke has now left him with severe sight loss. He is not letting it stop him and, with mum as his cheerleader, is back leading a relatively normal life. He has, however, received tremendous support from the RNIB helping him to adapt to this life-changing brain injury.

So as well as being mad enough to jump out of a plane, I wanted to do a fundraiser to give something back to a charity that has already helped dad so much. On 25 May 2026, I will be taking part in a Tandem Skydive to raise funds for the RNIB. My fundraising target is £500 — every donation brings us closer to supporting more people like dad who rely on RNIB’s invaluable services. Please sponsor me if you can.
