Sky Dive · 7 July 2024

Our charity has been set up in memory of our beautiful daughter Sophie Robinson who passed away in January 2016 after a courageous 2 yr battle with a brain tumour, in them 2 years she managed to raise over 40 thousand for Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre in Nottingham with the help of her army Through Sophie's Cancer Journey on Facebook doing many events. Sophie had one wish and that was for nobody else to go through what she did, sadly we cant promise this but we promised Sophie that we as a family will help others in a different way by providing free holidays to children with cancer under the age of 18 years. Allowing the family's to make special memory's like we did back in 2015 when we was given a weeks holiday through Ben's Den. Our charity will provide holidays from the static vans that will be placed at the Haven site Golden Sands in Mablethorpe Lincolnshire where we created lasting memory's with Sophie. So please dig deep and get behinds us so we can help other families create them special memory's

Story

This year Sophie would be turning 21in October I don’t want this to be sad I want it to be positive and make a difference, the day will be hard without a doubt but if I can make a difference doing things upto and after her birthday then I know I be able to smile a little knowing I’ve done positive things to make a difference to the children and youngs adults of Lincoln

I will be taking part in 2 events SkyDive in July and the Hyrox Relay team in October

I would like to raise towards the 21 thousand that we will need to start a new exciting project which we launching on Sophie’s 21st to make a further difference to families we support in Lincolnshire

So Hyrox training with Esme starts Monday 3rd June 2024 which will all be documented and then 15 Thousand feet I go on Sunday 7th July

Then 30th October i take part in a relay team at Birmingham Hyrox

And inbetween this my aim is to be able to run a 10k at my pace

Now some may say its only the relay team but for someone like myself that is 43 years old and has extremly serious Asthma and conditions with my lungs this is massive for me and anyone that knows me at the gym will know how hard this will be for me for me because of the challenges my asthma brings me

I will also be documenting all my training with Esme Good and BAD EVEN THE TEARS as i know its gonna happen

but im so focused and determined to do this

Please donate just a couple pound and that couple pounds will be turned into smiles and support the families that have sadly lost there child to cancer
