1 Million PAWSTEP Challenge · 14 October 2024

We are a non-profit organisation that relies completely on donations from adoptions and fundraising events so that we can ensure that any dog we help to save is healthy and up-to-date with vaccinations, neutered, given worm/flea treatments and that they are treated for any illnesses before rehoming.

Story

Update - 18th October: We sincerely thank everyone for your generous contributions and support. Unfortunately, our rescue funds are running low, creating a concerning situation where we are currently unable to provide kennel spaces for new dogs. Any donation you can make would be immensely appreciated so that we can continue to provide care for our current dogs whilst being able to offer rescue spaces to new dogs.

We are on a mission to raise essential funds Staffie Smiles Rescue, will you help support us?

Starting 14th October, we will each be walking, jogging, and running 1 Million PAWSTEPS with our furry friends, covering approximately 100 miles. Our goal is to promote fitness, community spirit, and most importantly, raise awareness for this incredible cause.

Staffie Smiles is a volunteer-run charity working tirelessly to rescue Staffordshire Bull Terriers across the UK. These dogs are first placed into foster homes for assessment and veterinary attention before being carefully matched with their adopters (rehomed in Scotland only). The rescue primarily work with 'poundies' - dogs facing unnecessary destruction in pounds across the UK after being abandoned or given up.

By supporting this cause, you provide a lifeline to these dogs, giving them the chance to live the rest of their lives in loving homes. Your donation through JustGiving is simple, fast, and totally secure. It's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
