👋🏼 Last June we set off on a 100 mile ride around Stamford to raise money for St Gilbert's School - and thanks to some brilliant donors, we smashed the £1,000 target and raised £3,000 for school trips and extra-curricular activities.

This year we're going bigger. On Sunday 27th September, we'll be back in the saddle together for another 8 hours and 100 miles - but this time, with a bigger group of us from Stamford Cycling.

Why we're riding

Every child deserves to learn beyond the classroom - trips that turn a lesson into a memory. Budgets don't always stretch that far, which is why we're back out on the road for St Gilbert's pupils.

The challenge

110 miles through the Lincolnshire countryside in a single day, with more of us in the saddle than ever before. It's further than last year, and with a bigger group riding, we're hoping for a bigger result too.

The goal

We're aiming to raise £1,500 initially and aim for over £3,000 this time round - beating what we managed last year, to go towards:

- Transport costs

- Entrance fees

- Educational materials

- Making sure every child can take part, regardless of circumstances
