Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Football has always been more than just a game for us at Stampede — it's about community, passion, and supporting one another through every challenge.

Earlier this year, we were devastated to lose a cherished member of our Stampede family, Carl Anderson, our former Defensive Coordinator, who passed away suddenly from a heart attack. Carl was not only a brilliant coach, but a mentor, leader, and friend to so many within the team and beyond.

To honour his life and legacy, we are dedicating this year’s Betty Pope Memorial Trophy Game on Sunday 6th July to Carl, and using the occasion to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation — a cause close to all of our hearts.

Our goal is to raise £500 to support the BHF’s vital work in research, education, and prevention of heart disease. Every donation, no matter the size, will help make a real difference and pay tribute to a man who gave so much to our team.

Thank you for helping us remember Carl in the most meaningful way — by playing with heart and giving back.
