Story

In Memory of My Uncle Steve – Supporting St Peter’s Hospice 💙

I’m raising money for St Peter’s Hospice in memory of my beloved Uncle Steve, who we sadly lost recently. This charity holds an incredibly special place in my heart because of the extraordinary care they provided during his final days.

Why St Peter’s Hospice Means Everything to Us

When Uncle Steve needed end-of-life care, St Peter’s Hospice was there for our entire family. Their compassionate staff made him as comfortable as possible, treating him with the dignity and respect he deserved. They didn’t just care for Steve – they supported all of us through the most difficult time of our lives.

St Peter’s Hospice believes that everyone deserves care and dignity at the end of their life. Their expert teams provide holistic support – physical, psychological, social, and spiritual – not only for patients, but for their loved ones too.

Thanks to donations like yours, they can be a voice at the end of the phone, a nurse on the doorstep, and a hand to hold through the darkest of times.

Summer Concert Fundraiser 🎤

On Friday 10th July at 6pm, I am hosting a Summer Concert with Stand Out Performing Arts at:

Burghfield Methodist Church, Burghfield Common (RG7 3BU)

This concert will feature my wonderful students performing solo pieces – a chance for them to build confidence and share their love of music, all while raising money for this incredible cause.

All ticket sales and raffle proceeds from the evening will go directly to St Peter’s Hospice. If you’re local, I would love for you to come along and support!

My Fundraising Journey

Earlier this year, I completed the London Landmarks Half Marathon, raising an amazing £2,300 for charity – something I’m incredibly proud of.

I’m now hoping to take on my next challenge and secure a place in the London Marathon next year, continuing to fundraise in Uncle Steve’s memory. Every donation from this page and the concert will help me get one step closer while supporting St Peter’s Hospice.

Why Your Support Matters

St Peter’s Hospice is an independent charity based in Bristol. They rely entirely on donations, meaning every contribution makes a real and direct difference to families like ours.
