“Building restoration”

Story

We need your help!

Many don’t realise that caring for a church like ours relies entirely on local support — we receive no central funding, and every repair depends on the kindness of our community. St. Andrew’s is in urgent need of help.

The 14th Century tower is falling, the beams are rotting, and the walls are crumbling — and without immediate action, we risk losing not just a historic building, but the very heart of our community. St. Andrew’s isn’t just a place of worship — it’s where our village comes together for weddings, funerals, concerts, celebrations, and moments of quiet reflection. It belongs to everyone in Countesthorpe, not only to those who attend services.

We urgently need to raise £50,000 to save this cornerstone of our village before it’s too late. Please, if you can, donate today and help us keep St. Andrew’s standing strong for generations to come. Together, we can save our church — but we can’t do it without you.
