Story
As my fitness journey continues, my October race takes me back to Blackpool to take on 2 loops of Stanley Park for the 'Autumn Breaker 10k'
For this race i want to support a charity who's mission is very close to my heart.
ANDYSMANCLUB aim to break the stigma around men’s mental health and stress that "it's okay to talk". This resonates deeply with me, as I’ve faced my own battles in the past. Running this race isn’t just about crossing another finish line; it’s about raising awareness for a great cause, starting conversations, and showing that it’s okay to speak up and seek help.
Mental health struggles can feel isolating, but discovering fitness helped me to bury some demons and focus on other goals outside of my family and career. Training and staying active have helped me build a healthier mindset and a stronger sense of self. Every step I take in this run is a reflection of the progress I’ve made — and a reminder that recovery is possible with the right support and tools.
By donating you’re not just supporting me — you’re backing a movement that’s saving lives. ANDYSMANCLUB provides vital spaces for men to talk, listen, and heal. Every contribution helps keep these conversations going. Let’s run toward a future where no one suffers in silence.
Thank you for your support.
