Staples Road Primary is excited to be part of the Lions on the Loose fundraising drive in aid of St Clare Hospice: a fantastic local charity.

We have created a wonderful Lion to be part of the Lions on the Loose trail, which will be active throughout the summer. Our Lion has been inspired by the book The Butterfly Lion and each child has created a butterfly and these have been stuck on our Lion.

This will join 30 full-sized lions on display, creating a vibrant showcase of creativity and community spirit.

At the end of the trail, our Lion will return to Staples Road as a lasting legacy of its contribution.

We want to raise £600 to contribute to the overall target of £20,000 that St Clare Hospice has, so any donation will be welcome. We will also be doing a Butterfly and Lion dress up day later this term to help raise funds.
