We’re raising money for The STAR Centre - Rape Crisis Ayrshire and Arran, because sexual violence continues to affect women and girls across Scotland, and specialist support is needed by survivors every day.

Recent figures show that thousands of sexual crimes are recorded in Scotland every year, including thousands of reports of rape and attempted rape, with women making up the overwhelming majority of victims. And these figures only reflect incidents that are reported - the true scale of sexual violence is much greater.

The STAR Centre provides specialist, trauma-informed support and advocacy to survivors of sexual violence, supporting people across Ayrshire, Arran and Cumbrae. Their support is available regardless of when the abuse happened, and can include emotional support, advocacy and help navigating the criminal justice system.

We’re bringing women together for a night of Halloween fun, friendship and fundraising, with the aim of raising as much as we can for this vital local service.

Every donation, raffle ticket and pound raised will help The STAR Centre continue supporting survivors when they need it most.

Thank you for supporting our event, sharing our page and helping us raise money for such an important local cause.
