Story

We are thrilled to be partnering with the incredible Marmalade Trust, a charity that is dedicated to raising awareness of loneliness and empowering people to make connections. Together, with the help of our amazing team, we are on a mission to create moments of true togetherness.

To bring our colleagues together in an inclusive event, we have decided to take on a team challenge - Star Turns Orange!

- Starting in Worthing at our fantastic pub, Ye Old House at Home, several of our team will be carrying the baton on the 15 mile walk to Brighton where we will be handing over the baton to Dave 'Wilborbeast' Wilbor, kitted in his Amstel Lycra and a marmalade sandwich in his helmet in case of emergency, who will cycle from Brighton to London, with some great pubs stops along the way!

- In London, Dave will pass on the baton to the London contingent at the Brunel in Rotherhithe (SE London), who will be completing their way across some icon Capital landmarks inc London Bridge, London Eye & Borough Market. This London walk will cover 10 miles and include 8 of our amazing Star Pubs in the Big Smoke!

- In Summary, the team will be walking a collective 25 miles covering 16 Star Pubs and an amazing effort to cycling 75 miles from Brighton to London, bringing Paddington's marmalade sandwich home to the Capital.
