Story
"An estimated 14 million children under the age of five worldwide suffer from severe acute malnutrition, also known as severe wasting, yet only 25 percent of severely malnourished children have access to lifesaving treatment," as stated by the Action Against Hunger organization.
The question of how to end world hunger can seem daunting, but we ARE making a difference, thanks to our generous donors, volunteers, and partners.
On Good Friday, St. Cecilia students will be packaging food to help feed children worldwide, including here in lowa. But we need YOUR help!
Just $40 feeds a child for one year!
For every $40 we raise, a child cutout will be hung on the front windows with the names of the students) that helped support that child. Donations will be collected during the month of March. *If you are donating on behalf of a St. Cecilia student, please be sure to include his/her name on the donation or comment!*
Help us reach our Lenten goal to feed 75 kids!
