Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last December we received the very sad news that one of our former pupils Sam Ashcroft died suddenly, aged just 23 years old. We feel it very important for our whole school to remember Sam and his family. Sam has 3 other siblings James, Luke and Olivia who also attended St Charles’. Sam’s parents were keen supporters of our PTA, and dedicated many hours to support the school.

Sam was involved in many sporting activities throughout his time at St Charles’, therefore we thought a very apt way of remembering Sam was to have a fun run in school to include everyone from Nursery to Year 6, whilst raising funds for charity.

St. Charles’ will be hosting a charity fun run event on the afternoon of Monday 1 July 2024. The event will start on the school field, then onto the one adjacent, all children will be encouraged to run or walk at least 3 laps, except Nursery will do 1 lap. North East Immediate Care staff will be in school during the event.

The event will take place between 1.30pm and 3.00pm. There will be a whole school warm up at 1.30pm.
