Story
This year, the staff at St Columban's are taking part in the Belfast Marathon by running two relay teams to raise funds for Cancer Lifeline. Cancer Lifeline provides vital support for those affected by cancer in North Belfast, offering help not only to the person diagnosed but also to their family members and carers.
We understand how challenging it can be to cope with a cancer diagnosis. That's why Cancer Lifeline's centre on Alliance Avenue offers a welcoming and comfortable environment where individuals can talk openly about their experiences and receive the support they need.
Their services include a range of free, professional programs such as one-to-one counselling, complementary therapies, welfare benefits advice, male and female support groups, bereavement support, stress management, relaxation workshops, and wellbeing mornings. These services provide essential comfort during what can be a very difficult time.
Every donation made helps Cancer Lifeline continue to offer these free services, making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. Thank you for supporting this incredible cause!
