Story
I have signed up to this challenge in memory of my mother in law who we lost 12 years ago, Angie was cared for at St Johns. St Johns hospice is such a vital place to those in need and the care and compassion they give is incredible.
Also In recognition of St Johns reaching 40 years of service to our community this year. So many have benefitted and continue to benefit from St Johns and the amazing work they do for individuals and their families in the most difficult of curcumstances. They continue to do so with very little funding and that is why the fundraising undertaken for St Johns is so important
St John’s Hospice is a local charity which provides free palliative care to patients with life shortening conditions. Our services cover a population area of 250,000 people in North Lancashire, South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire. We have been caring for our community every minute of every day since 1986.
Some of the money raised will go towards the cost of the trek.
