Update:
With the Duchenne Dash 🚴♂️ approaching, training rides are getting longer — and I’ve had a lot of time to think.
300 km in 24 hours will be tough. But it’s nothing compared to what boys and families living with Duchenne face every day. That perspective keeps me pedaling.
If you’ve already donated — truly, thank you.
If you’ve been meaning to but haven’t yet, there’s still time. Any contribution, large or small, helps drive research forward and brings us closer to better treatments — and ultimately a cure.
Let’s help change the future for Duchenne — together.
Team KEROS is raising money for the the Duchenne Dash, Duchenne UK's annual signature VIP cycling event. Over the past 14 years, the Dash has grown into the biggest and most challenging fundraising event of the year and has raised more than £9 million for Duchenne muscular dystrophy research (DMD).
Since the first Dash in 2013, Duchenne UK has brought light to a once dark and lonely landscape. Every achievement — from building a clinical trial network, to new drug approvals, to vastly improving care, and to developing pioneering tech to help disability – has been fueled by the Dash.
The Duchenne Dash will take place on 8-9 May 2026.
My journey, together with my fellow Dashers, will start at the Herne Hill Velodrome, South East London, working our way down the country to Newhaven and boarding the overnight ferry to Dieppe. You'll get the chance to rest before getting straight back on the road to complete the 300km cycle event ending in Paris under the Eiffel Tower.
Any donation towards this cause will help the Duchenne Community in the UK and is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
