Turns out running my first marathon didn’t put me off and actually made me wanna run again🤣😵💫
I will be running the Chester Triple race series for NCYC:
- Chester 10k 8th March
- Chester half marathon 17th May
- Chester Marathon 11th October
I started my running journey in the trenches of grief and found an outlet to manage my mental wellbeing and a new physical lifestyle. finding ways to push my limits & showing myself what can be achieved when you show up for yourself. These races is not only a chance to raise money for a good cause but also continue this outlet of running to improve mental wellbeing and achieving good things through hardwork and determination ❤️
NCYC is the Neston based charity that delivers and supports services for local people.Funds allow services such as the befriending service; community cinema, hospital discharge support, social prescribing, and local social support groups to run for those isolated or in need in the community. NCYC hosts the local foodbank, Job centre, Citizens advice service offering a hub of support for anyone in need to receive advice, support and local connection with others.
