Yep, I’ve done it again—I’ve signed myself up for more pain to raise money for charity! This year, I’ll be tackling the Manchester Marathon and the Great North Run for Zoe’s Place. And because I clearly love suffering, I might throw in a few 10Ks along the way... because, why not make my legs hate me even more?
In true Steph style, I have done absolutely zero training (because preparation is overrated, right?), and the Manchester Marathon is in April. But what’s the worst that can happen? Blisters? Tears? A slow, painful shuffle to the finish line? Even if it takes me 10 hours, it’ll be 10 hours well spent supporting an amazing cause.
Life is hard enough, but going through it with a poorly child is unimaginable. Any money raised will be a huge help for Zoe’s Place, giving families the support they need when they need it most.
So, here goes—time to lace up, cry a little, and drag myself to the finish line (probably questioning my life choices along the way). But hey, I got this… I think? 😅🏃♀️
