I was diagnosed with autism in 2021, and my sister has since been diagnosed with combined ADHD in 2024.

Since joining high school last year, I have understood more about the lack of support there is for children like me, especially in primary schools, and how much my parents have had to learn to help me and my sister.

I really want to raise awareness and to raise money to help more children and adults like me to receive the support and information they need to have the same opportunities as everyone else.

My mum and I are going to do a sponsored walk along the North Norfolk Coastal Path (84 miles from Hunstanton to Hopton) over 4 days from 28 to 31 July 2026, carrying all of our camping and hiking equipment with us to raise money for Autism Anglia. We are hoping to raise £750 and we are hoping to stay at camp sites in Wells, Cromer and Sea Palling along the way.

Autism Anglia's vision is to create an accepting society where autistic people are supported, able to access opportunities and fulfil their potential - but they need our help.

Fundraising is hugely important for Autism Anglia. It helps them to provide services for autistic children, adults, and the families that care for them, whether that is through their specialist school, adult services or in the community.
