Story
This year I’m running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for the National Autistic Society — a charity so close to my heart. 💙
My beautiful Lyla was born in 2019, completely unaware of the challenges she would one day face.
The day before her third birthday, she was diagnosed with autism and global developmental delay. Now six years old, she is unable to communicate her wants and needs and often struggles to navigate a world that can feel overwhelming and complicated. For SEN parents, it can be truly heartbreaking — wanting so desperately to understand your child, and knowing how deeply they want to be understood too.
Autism shapes every part of our daily lives. Simple things many families take for granted require patience, creativity, and constant advocacy. With the right understanding and support, autistic children can flourish — but without it, families are too often left feeling isolated and unheard.
The National Autistic Society supports families like mine, raises vital awareness, and fights for a world that better understands and accepts autistic people. Their work gives families hope and helps ensure autistic children are given the opportunities they deserve.
I’m running for Lyla — and for every autistic child who deserves to be seen, supported, and understood. 💙💚
Together, we can help create a world that better understands autism. 🧩
Every single donation makes a difference.
Thank you so much for your support.💖💝
