Para's 10 (Support our Paras) · 27 September 2025

We exist solely to support The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces, looking after veterans, serving soldiers and families within our Airborne community. We're there for our nation’s paratroopers through the good and the bad, from the moment they join our family to the sounding of the last post.

Story

"It isn't growth if it isn't painful."

This saying has been the driving force as I prepare for the toughest physical challenge of my life. As one of Ed Hargreaves' Warriors at Warrior Strong Fitness, and alongside my teammates, I'm about to embark on the gruelling Paras'10 TAB race.

This isn't just any endurance event. The Paras'10 TAB, or Tactical Advance to Battle, is the exact same 10-mile cross-country challenge that every Parachute Regiment recruit must pass. To earn their maroon beret, they must complete the route in under 1 hour and 50 minutes, all while carrying a 35lb rucksack.

My fellow Warriors and I are taking on that same brutal test of physical and mental fortitude. We will carry a 35lb bergen and wear military-style boots over the same punishing terrain, and we must complete it within a 3-hour cut-off time. Our goal is to come in somewhere between 2 and 2.5 hours.

We are:

Ed Hargreaves

Will Forsyth

Alicia Hookey

Colin White

Steph Chamberlain (Johnson)

For a 47-year-old mum of two, this is one hell of a challenge. I have personally been training for this moment for four years, pushing my limits to do something I once never thought possible. For some of the Warriors this is the 2nd, 3rd, 4th time but no less gruelling and it just means they will be pushing themselves even harder!

But this isn't just about our personal goals. It's about raising vital funds for SUPPORT OUR PARAS, a charity that provides unwavering support to The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces. From helping serving soldiers and their families to caring for veterans, this charity is there for the Airborne community through every challenge they face.

Please consider supporting me and the rest of the Warrior crew. Every donation, no matter the size, helps SUPPORT OUR PARAS continue their crucial work. By donating, you're not only cheering on the Warriors, but you're also directly supporting the real heroes who have served our country.

Thank you for your support.
