For seven years, I had the privilege of working at CHEO as a Patient Service Clerk and Administrative Assistant, supporting various departments, including orthopaedics, mental health, and eating disorders clinics. During my time there, I witnessed firsthand the critical need for more resources—especially in mental health and emergency care, where long wait times continue to impact families.
