Story
We are two sisters, Stephanie and Emma and we are running the 2026 London Marathon in memory of our granny, who we sadly lost to bone cancer. She was a huge part of our lives growing up, and this is our way of honouring her and doing something meaningful in her name.
Every 10 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a primary bone cancer, a brutal disease that often goes undetected until it’s too late. The five-year survival rate is still just over 50%, and even lower when the cancer is caught at a later stage.
We’re running for the Bone Cancer Research Trust because they’re the only UK charity dedicated to this cause. They fund life-saving research, raise awareness, and support families through the toughest times.
Pray for us and please dig deep.
