When my husband Kev was admitted to Kirkwood Hospice on 27th December, our world was shattered. In just a few days, until he passed on 31st December, the hospice team showed us extraordinary compassion not just for him, but for me and our two young boys. They treated us with care, comfort and kindness, making an unimaginably painful time a little more bearable.
