Story
I became a dog Mum more than 14 years ago to my little man Elliott. Since then he has opened my heart, and taught me so much about love, commitment, and companionship.
Elliott was found wandering around an abandoned building in the south of the United States with his sister. They were both 6 months old, malnourished, and no other family to call their own. They were due to be put down (killed) by the local law enforcement. But then an amazing charity stepped in and brought them into our lives. I'm forever grateful for these efforts, and continue paying this forward in local ways over the years.
This year I'm supporting All Dogs Matter. A local London based charity whose mission is to transform the lives of unwanted and abandoned dogs by bringing families together. I'm grateful to run for the dogs who need a second chance at love and happiness. Every life matters.
Every year All Dogs Matter rescues and rehomes between 350- 400 dogs, matching them with the right new homes where they will be loved and cared for for the rest of their lives.
I'll be running the Royal Parks half marathon on the 11th of October 2026. All money raised will go directly to All Dogs Matter and the dogs they support. I'll be keeping everyone updated on my progress here and via Instagram @stephaniehunterdines.
Can't wait to see you out there!
