Story
My Song of Gratitude
Five years ago, I began a private journey through cancer. Because it happened during the height of the pandemic, many of you may not have known, but today I am officially five years in remission. As a teacher educator and coach, I spend my life helping others grow, but this milestone has taught me the greatest lesson of all: the pure joy of simply being alive. To celebrate this "5-year-versary," I am joining Sing for Life to raise funds for breast cancer research and support. I’m trading my coaching voice for my singing voice to give back to the community that helps so many others find their way to recovery. Any contribution to my page would mean the world to me as I sing in gratitude for every breath and every beat.
Monday 23.2.26 - I just want to say how deeply grateful I am to every single person who has donated. Seeing the total climb to nearly £1,000 — and even more with Gift Aid — has honestly left me a bit overwhelmed. Every name, every message, every bit of support has meant more than I can put into words.
Knowing that so many people believe in this cause, and have taken the time to give what they can, has really touched me. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. It means the world.
