Orange United is raising money for GSK - Save the Children partnership
40 GSK & ViiV employees have been selected to take part in Orange United’s Trek for Health. Trek for Health is a 7-day challenge trekking to the summit of Mount Kenya in February 2027 supporting Save the Children and Amref Health Africa.

Story

I have been selected to participate in Trek for Health 2027!

In February 2027 I will take on a 7-day challenge to climb to the summit of Mount Kenya. I will also visit a Save the Children and Amref Health Africa programmes in Kenya - where some of my fundraising will support.

I am one of 40 employees taking on this challenge across GSK & ViiV and we will represent 19 countries.

I am proud to take on this challenge, supporting our global health partners. Together we aim to raise over £180,000 and this will be matched by GSK.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a tangible difference to these vital programmes – here's how your generosity could help:

Save the Children:

£5 could provide antibiotics for 5 children with pneumonia.

£10 could supply 38 sachets of therapeutic food paste to malnourished children.

£15 could provide 8 midwife's birth kits for safer deliveries.

Amref Health Africa:

£58 could enable a mother in a remote region to give birth safely with a skilled health worker.

£134 could train a health volunteer in sexual and reproductive health to raise awareness in their community.

£220 could construct a water collection point, bringing clean water closer to a village.

£446 could cover one year of school fees for a student nurse in Zambia, helping to build a stronger health workforce.

Thank you for your support!
