After losing weight again I am building up my fitness and hoping that my knee won’t cause me problems!
I’m going to start with Couch to 5 (starting 6th Feb). In addition I hope to do a run in Blackpool with Fylde Coast Runners on 26th April. I will decide nearer the time whether to try 5k or stick with 2K. I also will stick with working as a volunteer and completing parkruns, mainly Preston parkrun whether is a really lovely team who give me lots of encouragement. I would like to think by my birthday in June that I can run 5k without any walks and also have taken part in a couple of new to me parkruns.
I have heard from so many people who have weight problems and mental health issues. Running outside should help the way I feel about myself and I think MIND will be able to use any money raised to help others too. I will be very grateful for any support you can give. Thank you.
