We help children with disabilities afford the wheelchairs and other mobility equipment they need and deserve, we fund equipment for their participation in disability sports, and we approach each situation with care, support and enthusiasm.

Story

It’s no secret that I love running. Parkrun, trail runs, road runs, beach runs, 10ks, half marathons, but this is brand new territory… The London Marathon!!! This is bucket list stuff and I’m so excited!

Running has transformed my life in recent years. It’s done wonders for my mental wellbeing, I’ve met amazing people, discovered the beautiful nature on my doorstep, it’s given me focus and a sense of achievement, so much that I forget it’s exercise! I’m so lucky that I get to enjoy the sport I love in my day to day life and now in fulfilling this massive life goal, and that should be the case for everyone.

I am delighted to be raising money for The Make Way Foundation; a fantastic charity that funds and supplies wheelchairs and sports equipment for children with disabilities. I’ve been truly moved by the charity’s creation, ethos and ambition and would love to help fund a wheelchair to help a child fulfil their sporting goals.
