Captain’s Charity 2026: Burstwick Country Golf

Stephen Beaumont is raising money for Multiple Sclerosis Society
Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Our Mission

This year, my Captaincy at Burstwick Country Golf is swinging for more than just birdies. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) affects over 130,000 people in the UK - including my Mum - attacking the central nervous system and making everyday tasks a challenge.

The MS Society is at the forefront of research and support, and we want to help them drive toward a future where MS no longer limits life.

Why Support Us?

Whether it’s a pound for every three-putt I make in competition this year, or a generous donation to support the MS Society's research, every penny counts.

- £5 could provide information packs for someone newly diagnosed.

- £20 could fund an hour of vital research into new treatments.

- £100 could help run a local support group for a month.

Golf is a game of coordination and nerve - things that MS cruelly takes away from so many. Let’s use our luck on the course to help those who need it most.

Follow the Journey

I am keen to use social media to add a bit of fun to my captaincy and help elevate the status of our brilliant club in the process. You can follow my year - including the highs, the lows, and the inevitable 3-putts - on my Instagram page:
