It can take up to 12 minutes for an emergency ambulance to get to Eccleshall- the first 8 minutes are crucial, often a matter of life or death. The Eccleshall Community First Responder (CFR) scheme can make a difference.The ECFR Scheme was started in 1998 and since then they have had 20 volunteer responders supporting the Scheme. And 4 volunteers are due to finish their training with West Midlands Ambulance service over the coming month !
