Story

Steve is kindly running Cheltenham Half Marathon on behalf of MOVE Europe! A charity that supports children and young people with physical disabilities access opportunities to develop physical skills which help make their everyday life more accessible!

MOVE Europe supports schools to intertwine movement opportunities into the learning day and allows pupils to have autonomy over their physical goals. This can be life changing for many individuals, gaining a new level of independence. Examples of this could be developing the ability to take independent steps to access new environments or regain skills after invasive surgery, other skills include being able to develop head control in order to be able to use new equipment such as an eye gaze machine to communicate. These new transferable skills are life changing and make the every day wonderful! The skills developed are relevant to the individual with over 1500 pupils already accessing the programme making new memories and skills daily! Be part of the change that recognises how physical development is a crucial component in children and young people with physical needs to develop lifelong skills.

By donating to Steve’s fantastic run you could be part of an individuals journey to independence. Help us smash this target and help Steve run each mile for a fantastic cause.
