Story
I am fundraising to Build Bridges Not Walls by running Bristol's Bridges!
Bridges for Communities is a Bristol based charity that connects people of different cultures, races and faiths, enabling them to build friendships, grow in their understanding of one another and live well with difference.
My bridges' challenge
Between the 9th and 29th March I'm going to run across at least 45 of Bristol's bridges.
My challenge is partly inspired by the Bristol Civic Society's 45km walk which crosses 45 of Bristol's bridges without crossing the same route twice. As the map below shows (click 'read story' to see it), this route stretch from Avonmouth to St Anne's. Although not all of these are currently open, there are plenty of other bridges in Bristol to help me make up the numbers along the way.

Update - 14th March
First run as part of this challenge: Almost 18 miles covered and 12 bridges crossed (I'm using a flexible definition of bridges here... one may have technically been a floating walkway). Just 33 bridges to go...

Update - 21 March
Challenge complete!
Second run as part of this challenge, crossing over 33 bridges and running around 18km. A few closed bridges meant I took a detour around St Anne's Woods and Nightingale Valley to make up the numbers.

Here's all the bridges I've crossed over the two runs on a Google Map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/3/edit?mid=13Fbi2KB1eZzpCGlGaKoKIrI6t-D182E&usp=sharing
