Story

Thank you for clicking this far!

Our wonderful friends Emma and Peter, have been active in fundraising for the Alexander Devine Children's Hospice.

Please can you donate to help this amazing charity!!

In return for your donation I will make sure I suffer appropriately in my training and work as hard as possible on the big day. Thank you.

Here is their story:

Joshua was our beautiful baby boy, calm and gentle from the day he was born, he had completed our family. At 5 weeks he developed a devastating meningitis and was taken off his ventilator a few days later. The next few weeks were an unreal journey ending at the Alexander Devine Children's Hospice in November 2021 where we as a family spent Joshua's final days. While the situation was heartbreaking and gruelling, the support and kindness we recieved was humbling.

Helping us through the darkest days, the hospice continues to be a big part of our lives almost 2 years on. Memorial days help us celebrate Joshua and keep his memory alive. Sibling days are offered throughout the year to help our children process the death of their brother alongside children in the same situation. The hospice is a sanctuary of love, warmth and community.

We are so grateful for any support you can offer however small, it all makes a big difference.

Thank you!

Emma and Peter
