Millions of people wake up with arthritis every morning and face the day in pain, without the support and recognition they deserve. Arthritis attacks what it means to live – it takes away independence, movement, energy, and peace of mind. And far too often, people are left to manage it alone.

Versus Arthritis invests in breakthrough treatments, provides trusted information, and offers vital support for everyone affected – including children, like my daughter Olivia.

In April 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon — not just for the challenge, but for Olivia and the millions living with arthritis.

Olivia was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis at just 11 years old. It’s a painful, lifelong condition that affects every joint in her body, bringing daily fatigue, stiffness, and constant pain. But Olivia refuses to let it define her.

She’s made the incredible decision to run the marathon alongside me — and together, we’ve formed Team Liv & Stephen to raise money for Versus Arthritis, a charity that’s been a lifeline for families like ours.

This isn’t just a race. It’s a show of strength, love, and resilience.

And I’m proud to be doing this by her side.

I’ve set a personal fundraising goal of £2,500, and every donation — big or small — helps fund vital research, life-changing support services, and hope for a future free from the pain of arthritis.
