I lost my beloved Mum last week and prior to the funeral on May 28th, I want to take a day to reflect and honour her life by hiking the 24 miles Yorkshire Three Peaks hike next week. The challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. These hills form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

You may remember Shiro and I raised money for BIADS last year - they are a wonderful group of volunteers and staff who support all members of the Barnsley community affected by Alzheimer's and Dementia. They receive no council/government support and rely largely on the generosity of fundraisers and donors.
