Story

Steve needs more training! I'm using this event as preparation for something even bigger next year - please donate to help those who need our help in times of crisis - the Red Cross are always there to help but they can only do it with your kind donations.

To celebrate the incredible milestone that is the 70th anniversary of the partnership between Defender and The British Red Cross, 50 colleagues from JLR are embracing the impossible and will attempt to summit 24 of the most iconic peaks in the Lake District during an epic two-day trekking challenge.

The British Red Cross has been Defender’s trusted and valued humanitarian partner since 1954 when a Series 1 Land Rover was given to the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement to act as a mobile dispensary in the Dubai desert. Since then, the partnership has impacted over 2 million lives in more than 50 countries.

All monies raised will go towards supporting The British Red Cross’ humanitarian work in the UK and around the world so that, together, we can continue to be here for humanity.
