For years, we have been working tirelessly to provide a full wheelchair accessible bedroom and bathroom facility for Lily. This will allow Lily to bring her powered chair home and give her greater independence.

Thanks to the disabled facilities grant from the local authority, we are getting closer to our goal. However, the grant does not cover the full value of the build and with increased building costs, we find ourselves far from reaching our target amount of £30,000. Lily needs specialist bathroom facilities which are very expensive and we are reaching out to our friends, family and wider community for help. This extension is life-changing for Lily as it will give her the dignity and privacy she needs as she becomes a young adult.
