We all know somebody that has been affected by Alzheimers or Dementia. A few years back my Grandad was sadly diagnosed and this disease has slowly taken the great mans personality and affected his family and friends.

Dementia is a general term for a group of symptoms that involve a progressive decline in brain function, affecting memory, thinking, and communication.

I am running the Manchester half marathon (21k) to raise for Alzheimers Dementia UK which help families with support, care and advice.
