Story
Somehow, I’ve ended up voluntarily…ish signed up to do a charity skydive by the amazing folks at Gloworm Festival. Let’s just say, they set me up for this, and now I can’t back out — so here I am, about to jump out of a plane.
Now, I’m not exactly James Bond. More like Temu James Bond, but instead of a tuxedo and martini, I’ll be strapped to a stranger and hurled from 10,000 feet. And honestly… I barely trust Ryanair to land properly, let alone me jumping out of one voluntarily.
But while I may be terrified, this is for a cause that really matters.
I’m raising money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, which does incredible work supporting some of the sickest children in the UK. Their doctors, nurses and staff provide life-saving care, comfort, and hope every single day.
Your donations fund vital equipment, pioneering research, and projects that make the hospital feel like home for children and families during the toughest times. They help discover new treatments and find cures for childhood diseases, giving young patients the best chance for a bright future.
So, while I’m questioning all my life choices mid-air, you can help these amazing kids face their challenges on solid ground.
Any donation — big or small — will make a real difference. And if you donate enough, I might even film the moment I realise the plane door is actually open.
Thank you for your support, and a special shout-out to Gloworm Festival for setting me up… I guess I’ll see you on the way down!
