Story
Thanks for supporting my fundraising, this year marked the year I became older than my mother. I wanted to mark this occasion and raise more money than I did last time I stepped into the ring for Macmillan.
I am doing this in memory of my mother Margaret Ann Love who lost her battle to cancer at the age of 47, so at the age of 48 I wanted to do something to celebrate the life of my mother and what better than stepping back into the ring. Something I didn't realize the first time around that I would absolutely fall in love with!
So I'm taking part in CRN’s fight night 2024, 5 years after my first bout! And am up against the same opponent - am looking forward to the challenge (and lasting longer this time!)
I hope that you can donate what you can in aid of this great charity that supported my mother throughout her short battle with cancer, not a day goes by where I don’t think about her. I’m proud to do something again in memory of a wonderful Mum.
