I am participating in a white-collar boxing event in honour of a little boy named Carter, who suffered from ATRX syndrome (Alpha-Thalassemia Mental Retardation Syndrome; X-linked), a rare condition that has only been identified in 151 people. Tragically, Carter's life was taken too soon at just 4 years old on the 1st August 2024. All funds raised will go towards Green Park School, a school dedicated to educating children with complex and profound learning difficulties.

I have chosen to raise money for this school in recognition of the dedication and hard work provided by all the staff, not only for Carter but also for his older brother, Tyler, and all the other children who attend.
