Story
Melville-Knox Christian School Glasgow is such a blessing to our family. Our three children are thriving in the Christ-centred Reformed education. But the school needs your help!
We are going to be renovating our new building at Sandyhills. This former Gospel Hall needs to be transformed to make it suitable for a school. We need it to be ready for August. The school has raised a fair bit of money – enough to get the work started – but we are well short of our overall goal of £150k. Could you help?
Zoe and I are going to do a sponsored walk. Everyone knows that in the good old days, everyone walked to school (uphill both ways, in the snow, and barefoot!!) My childhood primary school was just across the road so I walked everyday. For us, the new Melville-Knox building is 8 miles away! Zoe and I are going to walk it. If I can, I will try to get Eloise and Knox to walk it too, but smaller legs will find it harder.
If over £5000 is raised, I will walk there and back! I don’t fancy barefoot in Glasgow (I hope you understand!) but since we’re coming into winter, I guess there is a chance of snow!
Please consider giving generously. Even small gifts will be really appreciated. If anyone wants to give directly to the school, get in touch with me for the bank details.
