Last year my partner's sister Nicola passed away with pancreatic cancer and this year my friend Simon passed away with prostate cancer. On the 8th of August this year I will attempt to swim from Padstow to Rock. This swim is in memory of them and to raise funds for Marie Curie who are sponsoring the swim.

Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, they are with you to the end, as well as leading research to the care they give you at home, in their hospices and over the phone.
