Story
💙🧡 #TeamMND
Finally, starting my last four weeks of training for my second marathon and with no event to take part in I thought it was only right that all my pain and suffering went towards a worthwhile cause.
Inspired by the challenges of Kevin Sinfield, I wanted to do the same. Unfortunately due to the heat of where I currently am in the world I will be unable to complete the standard marathon route outdoors. I am therefore aiming to complete the full distance on a treadmill, this will take place on 10 Sep 23 and I aim to complete it in under 4 hours.
It is my hope to raise £500 and support the wonderful work MNDA do for ordinary people, I have personally never had to go through the hardship of a loved one having MND. However, as a father to two wonderful boys and a husband to a lovely wife, I hope that I never have to make use of the amazing charity that is the MNDA.
My ask is simple, please give what you can and allow me to go through the pain of completing my second marathon whilst giving something back to this amazing charity and hopefully neither of us have to use their services because hopefully one day there can be a cure for this horrible disease!
