I am planning to run (🙏🏻) the 2027 London Marathon to raise funds to support research in Synovial Sarcoma cancer.

I am completing this challenge due to being inspired by Amber - the daughter of my dear friends, Kate and Aaron - who was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma aged 8 and in tribute to other families, young people and children affected by this awful disease.

Kate will be running this with me, alongside my lovely wife, Tracy, and a small number of other Synovial Sarcoma supporters!

Synovial sarcoma is under-funded and under-researched and only 50% of patients survive 5 years or more post diagnosis. This has to change. Please support us in making sure it does.

Your donations go so far in helping the sarcoma community:

£10 Could be used to buy microscope slides to look at synovial sarcoma cells in minute detail.

£30 Could fund one hour of use of a high-powered laboratory microscope, which will help synovial sarcoma researchers find the answers they desperately need.

£800 Could be used to buy a new laboratory freezer, for storing synovial sarcoma samples at -20°C
