Stephen's fundraiser for Tiffin Parents Association

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My name is Stephen Jeyaseelan, and I’m the proud father of a Year 8 student at Tiffin School. In a few weeks, I’ll be stepping far outside my comfort zone, literally jumping out of a plane from 10,000 feet - as part of a skydiving challenge to raise vital funds for the school.
Why would I do something so extreme? Because this school has given my son an extraordinary start in life, and I want to give something back.
Tiffin is a state-funded school, yet it consistently delivers opportunities that rival many independent schools, both academically and through its incredible range of extracurricular activities. Over 60 clubs and societies are open to pupils, from music and drama to STEM, sports, and leadership. What’s even more remarkable is that all of this is achieved despite the real and growing challenges in state school funding.
Since my son joined Tiffin, I’ve witnessed the incredible dedication that goes into transforming the school into a place where children can truly thrive. I've thrown myself into fundraising activities - not just by donating, but by helping organise and coordinate events that bring our vibrant Tiffin parent community together for a greater cause.
This skydive is more than just a fundraiser - it’s a way to say thank you. It’s my small attempt to match the incredible effort the staff, students, and parents put into making Tiffin what it is.
I’ve set a target of £1,000, and I’m inviting you to be part of this mission. No donation is too small, every pound you give will help enrich the experience for all Tiffin students. Funds raised will go directly to the Tiffin Parents' Association (TPA), supporting a wide range of projects, from extracurricular programs to much-needed resources.
A portion of what I raise will also go towards mental health awareness initiatives - a cause close to my heart. We need to educate, support, and empower our young people to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and strength. The remaining funds will be used to support small to medium-sized projects at the school, funded through the Tiffin Parents' Association (TPA).
I am truly grateful for your support and generosity. Together, we can make a lasting difference, for my son, for your children, and for all those lucky enough to be part of this special school.
Best wishes,
Stephen Jey
